Getting Help & Reporting
Where to ask questions, how to report rule breaks, and what to include in a ticket.
Asking questions
- New player questions: ask in the help channels in our Discord. Someone will usually answer quickly.
- This guide: search it with Ctrl + K.
- In-game: don't stop a scene to ask OOC questions. Ask in Discord instead.
Reporting a player
If someone breaks the rules:
Finish the scene
Stay in character and play it out. Don't argue OOC in the middle of it.
Get evidence
Clip it if you can. A recording (NVIDIA ShadowPlay, AMD ReLive, OBS replay buffer or Medal) is the best evidence there is. Note the time and the player's server ID (/id shows yours; staff can look up others).
Open a ticket
Open a support ticket in Discord. Include what happened, when, the people involved and your clip.
Always record
Run a replay buffer while you play. You never know when you'll need the last 2 minutes, either to report a problem or to save a great moment.
Getting refunds
If you lose items, money or a vehicle because of a bug or a server crash, open a ticket with as much detail as you can, and a clip if you have one. Refunds for losses that happened in roleplay (robberies, arrests, deaths) aren't given.
Appeals
If you've been warned or banned and think it was a mistake, use the appeal process in Discord. Stay calm and stick to the facts.
